Your Teenager and Your CCTV Home Security System

By Nahshon Roberts

Here is odd news for you: A Florida father whacked his teenage daughter’s boyfriend after he found said boyfriend standing naked on his daughter’s bed. The amazing thing is that the boyfriend was trespassing for more than a year before the awkward, and subsequently costly, discovery. How costly? The father was booked for aggravated battery and posted bail for $10,000!

You definitely do not want invasions on your home’s privacy and your children’s chastity like that. With this purpose in mind, you should monitor your teenage children’s activities through a high-tech CCTV home security system and low-tech parental love. Here is how.

Monitor the House

You need to monitor the house and its premises with even the most basic of CCTV home security systems. If you dismantled your old CCTV home security cameras used to monitor the nanny when the kids were younger, then it is time to re-install them. Why the need when there is no nanny to spy on?

Well, you are not always in the house. The CCTV home security cameras can help you monitor your teenaged daughter and her friends while you are out of the house on vacation, on a short business trip or at work. If you see anything on the CCTV home security monitor that needs your immediate concern, you can readily call up the house. Otherwise, you can discuss the issues when you get home.

However, in all instances do not bring up the presence of the hidden security cameras lest you have a full-blown teenage rebellion in your hands, with invasion of their privacy as the staging ground for battle. That being said, stay out of their private areas but it is a good idea to have cameras installed where boyfriends can climb up to their rooms.

Talk and Listen

As difficult as it can be to understand the teenage psyche of the new generation, you have to talk and listen to your teenagers. You have to keep your communication channels as open as possible, hopefully bridging the gap between your protective parental concerns and their surge for independence.

The emphasis is on a two-way communication that lays out what you think is good for him and what he thinks is better for him and coming up with viable compromises. Sounds difficult, doesn’t it? Actually, it is but with dedication, it is possible.

Go Easy on the Unsupervised Time

Sure, you should allow your teenagers to perform unsupervised activities to develop their sense of independence and their self-confidence. However, you have to set firm but gentle parental limits that set rules and enforce consequences for violations.

You can even encourage them to join supervised and chaperoned activities like organized clubs where you can be assured that responsible adult supervision is provided for.

Know Their Friends

Often, it is better to have your teenagers’ friends in your house doing what teenagers do for good, clean fun than have them somewhere else that raises not just your suspicions but your hackles as well. What is annoying pop music blaring from the radio, magazines scattered everywhere and the loud laughter of teenagers having fun compared with rock concerts peppered with sex, drugs and rock n’ roll?

The most important thing you can do to monitor your teenagers sans CCTV home security cameras is to win their trust, provide them with guidance and shower them with love. Everything else should be easy.

Fortune High Tech Marketing (a.k.a. FHTM) – How to Make Easy Residual Income

Fortune High Tech Marketing (a.k.a. FHTM) – How to Make Easy Residual Income

In this article I am going to explain how I was introduced into the world of network marketing and what company taught me how to be more open minded in today’s world, Fortune High Tech Marketing (FHTM.)

About 6 months ago I worked at a local engineering consulting firm as Civil Engineering Technologist. I went to college for about three and a half years to earn my diploma.
I went into the program thinking that’s what I was going to do and I was going to work my way up the ladder into management. I was never that great at school but I knew that if you worked hard enough, you can accomplish anything you want, so pretty much fresh out of high school I applied for the engineering program.

Long Story short, three and a half years later I finally graduated and started my career. Just like everyone else, thinking that going to school and getting a good job will secure a safe income and live happily ever after.

Well times are changing my friends, out of no where the boss calls me into his office and gives me a 3 week heads up that there might be some lay-offs in the civil department, but shouldn’t have to worry too much about it. About a month later the boss calls me into his office again and hands me an official letter stating I am out of a job due to the recession. Just like that.
Except for a few seniors left, the civil department is pretty much empty. No construction happening, so no work for us to do for the construction contractors.
I was in shock, I packed a box full of my personal belongings from my desk and walked out about an hour later, with 3 of my colleagues. What would I tell my girlfriend, family, friends? It felt like I was fired on the spot.

Anyways, a buddy of mine called me over to his place about a month later to show me this home based business he heard about, Fortune High Tech Marketing.
I am seriously one of the biggest sceptic people out there, but the compensation plan for FHTM was almost “too good to be true”. Like most MLM companies out there, the initial pitch/compensation plan is designed to get people to join their opportunity based on hype. Once the hype wears off about 3 weeks later and the fantasy of driving your dream car are no longer there, and you havn’t earned a SINGLE dollar…you begin to think “was I just scammed?”
This is exactly what happened to me, I thought this was my calling and my fears of losing everything were over. Turns out FHTM’s compensation plan is real, but like most companies, they teach you to chase your friends and family down. Instead of teaching you the right way of marketing your home business, to be part of the top 5%.
Instead of quitting like the rest do (average 3 months in), I decided to keep going and I researched as much as I possibly could.

Another long story short, I finally found a way to market one of the best, debt free companies (Fortune High Tech Marketing) using Systems and Technologies. Meaning, I found a community of the top earning internet marketers in a community based group to help mentor and coach me into turning my useless “home business” into a residual income earning machine!
You see, it pays to never quit and to be patient. Good things will happen to those who do so. It did for me and why shouldn’t it happen for you? I’m just a normal guy who took a chance and did something different. It seems as if we are all programmed from childhood to go to school to work until your 65 then retire. Life is too short!

What is the best security system in the home of a tenant? Wi-fi? Do you have to have a phone line?

I need a system cost effective burglar alarm. I can rent, so I need something I can take with me when I leave. Do we need a monitoring service? Can you have a system free wireless phone line? Is it better to buy a DIY online and then buy the monitor separately?

You should check out of http://ucontrol.com. They have a cooler that can be connected to any existing alarm system. It gives you redundant monitoring over broadband, mobile and online telephone – so if the thief cuts the phone line, which again are still in good shape. It also lets you control and monitor your system alarm remotely from the web or your cell phone. The best part is that you can take the box with you when you move and connect to another system in its next location.

How To Set Up A Wireless Camera Security System

Types and Uses of Wireless Camera

Wireless cameras have become increasingly prevalent in today’s society, and are used for a variety of purposes. This article serves to give you a basic overview of the different types of wireless camera available, and how they are used.

Security Wireless Camera

An outdoor wireless security camera can be used in a home security system, indoors and outdoors. Wireless cameras come in all shapes and sizes. Some types are waterproof and can be hidden away in outdoor plants or other nooks and crannies. There are also wireless video cameras with night vision.

One advantage of using a wireless camera for outdoor security is that one does not need to do extensive preparatory setups or wiring. If you decide you would like to have your camera in a different location, you simply move it over.

A wireless security camera is also good for temporary uses. For example, if you want to set the device up in a certain location for a specific event or time period, it is easy to do so, and to then move it later.

Spy Camera

A spy cam is just what the name says – a hidden wireless camera used to spy on people. Modern forms and uses of spy cams seem to be becoming more and more creative. They can be incorporated into pens, can be as small as a USB flash key, disguised in glasses, or simply so tiny that it is easy to conceal them within clothing. Some spy cameras also come with tiny microphones and listening/recording devices. You can even find backpacks with a hidden camera installed in them (this might be useful in case you want to keep close watch on whomever is hiking behind you.)

A Nanny Cam

Surveillance cameras can be used by parents to keep an eye on their children’s babysitters (to make sure they don’t abuse the children, or raid the fridge too often), or they can be used by nannies to keep an eye on the children themselves. They can also be used to watch over pets from afar or from another room. The use of wireless cameras can get pretty innovative too – one recent example I saw was a wireless camera disguised in an air-freshener. In some cases, these wireless cameras come with portable hand-held monitors so that you can always have an eye on your child as you move through the house.

Some types of wireless nanny cameras (or surveillance cameras) display the image on a cell phone (if compatible), PDA, Internet web browser, or a standard video display. Some cameras are even equipped with heat sensors which will alert you by email any time someone enters a room.

These cameras also have remote control functions which allow you to change their position and pan to get a new view, from wherever you are.
