When in my car I can find a source of constant 12 volt power?
im trying to add power door locks to my 94 Mazda MX-3, and im having trouble finding a sourch able to work. Does anyone know where I can find this in my car? Also, if you have any tips on how install locks on the doors of power that is appreciated as well, thanks!
I would live drums and the ground (car body), but make sure using a fuse so that if something goes wrong, you will not end with a flat battery. You can find a constant 12v source or the hook right next to the battery terminals. FYI, if you do not know much about this sort of thing, installing power locks should be left to an auto electrician. I can put on a set a car in about 3-4 hours, ie for a decent job with the wiring nice it is presentable. Remember that when you turn on the ignition is not good because they need to be fed all the time, when the ignition is turned on or off, therefore, the battery is a good place.
