Basic and intermediate level home wireless security system?

I want to install a basic and intermediate home wireless security system to my apartment and not sure which one to get. The basic requirements are: 1. at least five contacts to secure the doors / windows 2. notify me by phone or e-mail 3. Motion Detector Pet immune 4. easy to install and expand (add more accessories below) 5. reliable and low maintenance cost is 200 ~ 300, I have no problem to go beyond that if it's worth. So far two brand names seems possible candidates, Skylink Deluxe Kit and GE Simon 3, but I'm not sure you've checked the place to get information. Can you suggest a system or model that best fits my needs? which vendor to purchase? Thanks &!

The GE Simon 3 is one of the standard used by many companies and is in that price range. For Simon, I want to buy where it is cheaper. 3 GE is very expandable with up to 38 or 40 I think controlled areas.
