Door Lock Installation

Is it possible to install a remote lock system on a ford ranger with non power locks?
I have non power locks on my ford ranger and would like to install a remote lock/unlock system on the doors.
1. Is it possible and if so how much will it cost?
2. Where should I go to buy the hardware i’m going to need?
3. How hard will the installation be, could I do it myself?
I installed a set from VPA on a 1970 ford truck. They are universal. I ordered them from Summit www.summitracing.com.
