Best Home Security

what is the best home security system?
im moving into a new home and looking to add a home security system i only know of a few: adt and brinks? i dont know much about them.
Monitored systems are the best. An important note is that you would need to probably sign a contract. Different security companies charge you different amounts up front. Installation fees vary from company to company. I think overall that ADT is one of the cheaper installation fee companies. Here are some costs for ADT per month:

and then some cost comparisons between companies:

Broadview security is being merged into ADT so those aren’t really necessary to compare:

One thing I would purchase with a security system is a key fob. They come with some systems from ADT and are nice if you are in one part of your house and you want to set the alarm off. Some people elect to get a second security panel, but you can get the key fob and keep that beside your bed. If there is trouble, just hit the button, of course your alarm would probably be on anyway, but it’s a nice safety feature.
Most systems come with 2 to 3 door or window sensors, a siren inside, a panel, and they throw in security signs as well most of the time. Beware of those places that say that they offer a “free” security system. There is nothing for free out there, and they usually end up charging you higher monthly fees as well as an installation fee.
You may see advertisements for wireless systems. There’s really no difference between the wireless / wired and no real benefit that I can see. They both work roughly the same, it’s just the wireless costs you more.
Good luck,
